shareholder base. The body of shareholders has a strong healthcare relevant representation in each of the key regions of South Africa,
as shown detailed list of shareholders.
Trojan is committed to get involved in its investments. Our pledge is to be involved at all levels of the operations. This is in keeping with the principle of meaningful transfer of skills.
Women have a strong representation in the Phodiso Holdings shareholding structure and a number sit on the boards of Phodiso’s operating
companies. Trojan is therefore able to draw on their experience and perspective in the management of its business and when pursuing
new initiatives.

Mr Max Maidman
The original founder of Trojan Medical in 1994 and is currently serving as the Managing Director.He has 16 years of
experience in the capital and specialized medical equipment business and has been trained by such companies as Welch Allyn,Olympus,Storz
Coburn(Now Bausch & Lomb),Medisafe and Sturdy Industrial.
All though trained in Ophthalmic’s & orthopedics, the company has a strong
focus in infection control with Autoclaves,washer Disinfectors and Ultrasonic cleaners being the mainstay of the business.
Mr Maidman
has a great deal of experience in the Tender / Government market and has managed to secure contracts due to service excellence and
the companies mandatory BEE status.
